Greetings Cosmonauts! A much anticipated update, the CosmicClient and multi-version support up to and including 1.12.2 finally in Live Beta Release! Those who already have the CosmicClient know your way around but for those that may be new, here's the run down! A completely customized experience that provides users with a flawless and amazingly customizable Cosmic experience regardless of what Cosmic Server you are playing on! Auto-Installer for easily installation Mods specific to each Cosmic Server Extreme customization Support for both 1.8.9 and 1.12.2 New Emotes (1.12.2 during Live Beta Testing) Installing the CosmicClient: The CosmicClient can be downloaded at CosmicClient.com or you can select your download version below. 64bit Computer Systems If you are not sure what option to choose, select this one! Download the Auto-Installer here. Once downloaded execute the file and access the CosmicClient by clicking the shortcut automatically placed on your desktop. 32bit Computer Systems: Download the Auto-Installer here. Once downloaded execute the file and access the CosmicClient by clicking the shortcut automatically placed on your desktop. Mac/Linux Users: Download the jar file here. Create a new folder on your desktop (we recommend naming it CosmicClient) Place the jar file in the new folder Double Click Launcher.jar to launch the program. How does the CosmicClient support both versions required for Cosmic servers? Instantly join the Cosmic Server of your choice by simply clicking the server at the bottom of the launcher! The version you are currently playing on is shown at the top of your Minecraft screen. If you wish to switch versions you can: Relaunch the client and have two clients running (useful when you wish to multi-client) Close your Minecraft and your CosmicClient launcher will relaunch automatically! Is there a way to launch to my Multiplayer Menu rather than just joining a Cosmic Server? Absolutely! On the launcher simply select your version from the two options in the top right corner. Spoiler: 1.8 and 1.12 Multiplayer Menu Selection You read that right- one client, 2 different versions! How do I access and customize my mods? The CosmicClient features mods specific to each version! To access your CosmicClient options click your Right Shift. Mods are located under settings. How do I toggle on and off mods in the Settings menu? Right Shift then click settings and right click the mods you wish to toggle on or off Spoiler: Toggling mods through the CosmicClient Settings menu Can I set a hotkey for mods? Yes! Right Shift, then click on settings and left click the mod you wish to set a hotkey for. Click on the box under the toggle on the left (where it says NONE) and press the key you wish to assign it to. Spoiler: Setting a hotkey for a mod How do I customize how the mods look? Right Shift then click on Settings and left click the mod you wish to customize! NOTE: Every colored triangle there operates as a drop-down and is completely customizable from color, to text, to opacity, even rainbow! The options are endless! Right Shift, click Settings, then "Move HUD Items" Spoiler: How to move mods on your screen I saw Woofless dancing on twitter, can I dance too? After the next reboot on sky, and during this Live Beta Release of the CosmicClient players on CosmicSky only will have access to "Default Dance" on the live server! Our goal is to have emotes available on all networks in the very near future, so keep an eye out CosmicPrisons and CosmicPvP! The current hotkey is set to the letter "V" but can be changed through your controls menu using Esc > Options > Controls > Emote Menu! Additional Features Accounts Waypoints Profiles Accounts You can easily switch, while on the same server, between accounts instantaneously! Right shift, click accounts, then click the account you wish to switch to. Spoiler: Easy account switching Waypoints You can set a waypoint using the default hotkey B at any time! Waypoints are completely customizable and visible in the Waypoints menu after clicking Right Shift Spoiler: Setting Waypoints Profiles Customize your gaming experience! Preset your mod locations, presentation and more for each situation and access it in a simple click! Right Shift, click Settings, Click Profiles and customize away! Spoiler: Creating Profiles Performance Options By default players will have "Smart Performance Handling" toggled on. This feature automatically limits certain aspects that may be more straining on your pc. If you find you prefer to have more control you can completely customize how the CosmicClient handles certain, more intensive, aspects of Minecraft To access this, press right-shift -> click mods -> click General and then the Performance tab Smart Performance Handling is the top option and it is ideal to enable This will take the performance of your computer and will adjust your settings to better improve your play experience!
